description
PRE-PREVENTED WARMING WASTE PACKAGING
The present invention relates to a heat-insulating sheath for storage containers, comprising a cover layer of a tensile material and an insulating layer associated with this, in particular for hot water tanks, as they are used in solar thermal systems.
In such solar thermal systems, the trapped heat must be stored in order to use them at any time. For this purpose, a storage medium is used, which is heated by the heat energy radiated by the sun. Due to its high specific heat capacity, its constant availability and its favorable price, water is regularly used as storage medium.
Storage tanks in the field of solar thermal energy consuming insulation is required to prevent heat loss. As insulation material PU or PP foams or fibrous thermal insulation materials are used, with layer thicknesses of 10 cm and more occur. In contrast, only about 5 cm of mineral wool are used in conventional hot water tanks in central heating systems. The storage container itself can also contribute to avoiding heat loss due to their design, for example, by a tall and slim design that allows the development of different temperature layers, so that the low-mounted, large heat exchanger encounter water with the largest possible temperature difference.
From the prior art, a whole series of such insulation is known, especially as loose or by the meter.
It is first known, at the installation of the storage container to make a mounting of the thermal insulation of loose material by hand, wherein the storage container is covered with glass or rock wool. This is a very complex and unpleasant activity for the user, which can lead to severe itching and skin irritation.
It is also known to use items with an Al skin, which must be riveted together on site to be insulated container.
DE 10 2006 050 939 A1 discloses a mat-like, heat-insulating casing for hot water tank, which has on its outer side a cover layer of a material with high tensile strength such as aluminum, hard polyvinyl chloride or polystyrene, in that a first outer heat-insulating, wedge-shaped cut melamine resin foam layer followed, followed by a second inner heat-insulating layer of a more temperature-resistant nonwoven fabric. Due to its properties and in particular its restoring forces, this fleece is intended to be very precisely fitting to the storage container in order to minimize heat losses.
Thermal insulation composite systems are known from DE 20 2007 013 688 U1, which have a microporous, hydrophobic over organosilane thermal insulation core. These composite systems should be wrapped with a nonwoven material, a metal foil or cardboard, etc ..
A disadvantage of this prior art is that the organic insulation materials are combustible or release harmful gases in the event of fire. A further disadvantage is that the known sheaths on site must be adapted by hand to the particular circumstances and that they have a relatively large expansion coefficient, so that they must be heated for mounting at low temperatures. During operation of the storage container, this insulation then loses its tension due to the high temperature, so that wrinkling and thus poorer thermal insulation of the storage container can occur. In addition, also the shoulder and lid areas of the storage container with the known insulation problematic to insulate. It is therefore an object of the invention to provide an easy-to-mount enclosure, which reduces the risk of fire as possible.
This object is achieved in that the cover layer is prefabricated and consists of a mineral nonwoven, in particular a glass mat, preferably a coated glass mat, so that the fire classes A2 or B1 or B2 can be achieved, as defined in DIN 4102 are and that the insulation layer is pre-assembled. A mineral fleece is not flammable as such with excellent processing properties and thus reduces the risk of fire. This is especially true when used with an insulating layer of a non-combustible, fibrous and compressible material together. According to the invention, the fleece of mineral fibers can be isotropic or anisotropic, can be formed from fibers of different fine fibers or in different fiber orientation. A glass fleece is preferred according to the invention, but a basalt fiber fleece or a mixed fleece made of different mineral fibers such as glass, basalt or asbestos can also be used. In the event of fire, this nonwoven fabric according to the invention leads to the formation of toxic vapors or gases which would hinder extinguishing attempts. Particularly advantageous is the pre-assembly, so that only the packaged isolation unit unpacked and placed directly around the body to be isolated at the installation. The prefabrication according to the invention in this case means an adaptation of the size and shape of the insulation to the respective heat storage of the different manufacturers already prior to delivery to the processing workshop.
In an embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the prefabricated insulation layer consists of a fibrous, compressible material, wherein the insulation layer in the preassembled state has a thickness which is greater than that thickness in the mounted state. This particularly advantageous solution allows a simple assembly even at low temperatures, as well as a dense concern to the storage tank can be achieved during operation. Since compressible material is used in oversize, can advantageously be omitted heating for mounting at low temperatures. It is also advantageous that the finished assembled insulation layer is compressed and thus makes an adaptation to changed temperatures and thus volumes of the storage container by itself due to certain restoring forces. Due to the compression of the insulation material, the enclosure according to the invention is also close to the critical shoulder and head areas of the storage container, so that a heat-dissipating chimney effect can not occur.
In an embodiment of the invention it is provided that the insulating layer of mineral wool, sheep wool, flat wool or a mixture of two or more of these materials. Particularly preferred is the use of mineral wool, especially rock wool. This material is virtually non-combustible, does not exhibit thermal expansion at assembly and operating temperatures, and is easily compressed manually.
It is particularly advantageous if the thickness of the insulating layer in the preassembled state is 1.2 to 2.5 times that thickness in the mounted state. With this compression, the achieved volumetric weight and the Anschmiegung to the storage container is optimal.
If the thickness of the insulating layer in the preassembled state between 80 mm and 150 mm, in particular between 100 mm and 120 mm, so a sufficient dimensioning in the compressed state is achieved for all applications.
The processing is facilitated and improves the concern of the storage container when the cover layer has at least one connecting means, in particular a Velcro strip or a zipper, for connecting two edges of the cover layer to each other. As a result, the enclosure can be easily placed and closed around the cylindrical part of the storage container with advantage.
With regard to the upper conclusion of the thermal insulation, the invention proposes advantageous to provide connection means to a cover, in particular a Velcro strip or a zipper, for connecting the cover layer with the lid. These connecting parts may be similar to the connecting means of the lateral surface.
If the insulating layer is bevelled at its edge regions, the contact of the edge regions is improved and thus the effectiveness of the thermal insulation.
The invention will be described by way of example in a preferred embodiment with reference to a drawing, with further advantageous details are shown in the figures of the drawing.
Functionally identical parts are provided with the same reference numerals.
In detail, the figures of the drawing show: [0022] FIGS. 1a and 1b: an enclosure according to the invention in the preassembled state in a perspective view, and [0023] FIG. 2: a partially sectioned view in the assembled state [0024] FIG. 1a, 1b shows a mat-like cut enclosure 1 according to the invention and the associated cover 6 in the preassembled state. The envelope 1 is formed approximately as a cylinder jacket 8. Schematically connecting means 5, here zippers 5 to recognize the edge regions 7 of the cylinder jacket 8, wherein two of the zippers 5 are provided for closing the cylinder jacket and two for each connection with the cover 6 and not Pictured bottom part. Furthermore, four through holes 9 are shown, penetrate through which in the assembled state casings of the storage container. The insulation layer 3 is adhered to the cover layer 2, in particular by means of machine-applied spray adhesive. The cover layer 2 consists of a fabric layer or a PE film, the insulation layer 3 consists of mineral wool with a thickness of 120 mm. The insulation layer 3 is accommodated between the cover layer 2 and the nonwoven layer 4, which prevents the direct contact of the mineral wool to a user.
Such mats are adapted to the dimensions of the known storage container from different manufacturers, so that the storage container manufacturer can offer the appropriate, ready-made wrapping its customers, namely craft businesses, together with the corresponding storage container. The wrapping 1 according to the invention is placed on site by the craftsman around the storage container around, and initially closed as a cylinder jacket by means of the zippers 5. Then the lid 6 is placed and also fastened with zippers 5 on the cylinder jacket 6.
During assembly, the insulating layer 3 is compressed, here from 120 mm to about 80 mm, whereby it conforms tightly in each area of the storage container.
This is shown in Fig. 2. It is easy to see how the insulating layer 3 has compressed during assembly, wherein the compression in the shoulder region of the storage container has naturally been reduced.
